Artemex is a company founded in 2010, a native of Huixcolotla, Puebla, dedicated to the design and production of traditional cut paper with Mexican roots. With our original and personalized designs.

Our history goes back to Nuvia Reynoso, who stood out for being a strong, determined and passionate woman, having nothing more than her desire to get ahead. At her young age, she began working as an artisan in workshops in her community to help with household expenses and when she turned 23, she decided to start her own cut paper business, which represented a challenge due to lack of support and various complications that were present in her life at that moment. Despite this, her passion took her beyond the obstacles. Take, take your cut paper, marchantita!, she shouted through the aisles.

Nuvia’s husband and many more people joined this great project, thus finding more clients in different places, such as Mexico City, La Merced and Mesones. Little by little Artemex began to grow, however, not everything was rosy, as there were still obstacles, which made her resort to selling her house and land. Luckily they still had a small store in the center of Huixcolotla, where they display their products and many people from all over began to come because of the charm of the cut paper, it was then that he discovered the great opportunity that existed to take Artemex to more parts of Mexico and the world. That is how the help of professionals and perseverance gave rise to a new opportunity through a virtual store.

In 2019 we were invited to participate in the 4th season of Shark Tank Mexico, capturing the attention of Arturo Elías Ayub, Carlos Bremer and Rodrigo Herrera.

We are currently 18 direct people and more than 30 families of artisans who are part of Artemex.
